ELTON JOHN JOINED the list of Egot Grammy, Oscar and Tony award winner an Emmy, after his first ever Emmy in 2024, becoming the 19th person to do so.
This has made John join the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The Egot was a result of an Emmy award for outstanding concert documentary 'Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.
The English musician won accolades last year as well for the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, intended to be John's final tour, bringing in $939 million over 328 shows worldwide.
The 76-year-old British singersongwriter's possessions from his former Atlanta home will be up for an auction, titled 'The Collection of Sir Elton John: Goodbye Peachtree Road', by Christie's, from February 21-23 at the Rockefeller Center in New York.
Besides the auction, there is an exhibition open to the public in February at the same venue where music lovers can view the collection.
