DEHRADUN:
The proposal was approved in the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the secretariat in Dehradun.
Sharing details during a press briefing, Shailesh Bagauli, secretary to the CM, and R Meenakshi Sundaram, secretary energy department, said: "In continuation of the announcement made by the chief minister on September 16 on giving subsidy in electricity tariff to the domestic category electricity consumers of the state, 50% subsidy in electricity tariff has been provided to the electricity consumers of the state."
