BJP MPS HAILED PM MODI'S SPEECH FOR EXPOSING HOW THE CONGRESS 'TORE APART THE CONSTITUTION'
- HT Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Congress has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in the Lok Sabha on Saturday, the second day of the debate on the "Glorious Journey of 75 Years of the Constitution of India", was "hollow", even as the ruling lawmakers hailed the PM for exposing how the opposition party "tore apart the Constitution".

In his over 100-minutes-long speech, the PM on Saturday said that the Congress, having "tasted blood", repeatedly wounded the Constitution while his government's policies and decisions since it took office in 2014 have been aimed at boosting India's strength and unity in line with the vision of the Constitution.
