MUSSOORIE:

This action plan aims to make Mussoorie traffic smooth and organized while also benefiting the local community and preserving the area's natural beauty, said officials.

Radha Raturi, chief secretary, Uttarakhand, discussed the key features of the action plan in a meeting on Thursday, which included shuttle service and Golf Carts operation, development of satellite parking at Kingcraig and Hathi Paon, stray animal control and technology integration.

Raturi directed the officials to promote the shuttle service in Mussoorie through various channels and stressed the need for regular monitoring and review of the service to ensure passenger convenience. She also called for traffic flow analysis and tourist feedback to optimise the service.
