MOO-VE OVER, LEOPARD! COWHIDE PRINT IS IN FASHION

Animal prints cheetah, leopard, have long snake been staples in fashion. But the latest craze, cowhide print, has taken over with a fresh, stylish edge. Recently, actor Tamannaah Bhatia rocked this look at designer Roberto Cavalli's Spring/Summer 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week, showcasing its renewed appeal.

The cowhide trend emerges from the Western influences in fashion, which were seen in Beyoncé's Renaissance album and Bella Hadid's cowgirl era. Designer Nachiket Barve sheds light on the print's resurgence: "Cowhide print became popular in the '60s with icons like Twiggy, then briefly revived in the '90s. Fashion is cyclical and 30 years later, here we are again. Animal prints, especially cowhide, have become part of a classic design language."
