Terrorist killed, J&K infiltration bid foiled

The army foiled an infiltration bid along the India-Pakistan international border in Khour sector of Akhnoor sub division in Jammu district during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, killing at least one terrorist, officials familiar with the matter said.

The operation took place when a group of four heavily armed terrorists was noticed attempting to sneak across the international border, the officials said.
