HAVING landed the first Grade 1 of the season when Envoi Allen bounced back to top form in Saturday's Ladbrokes Champion Chase, Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore might double-up with Gateau de Miel and The Short Go in Fairyhouse.

Tried in handicap company last time over this course and distance, Gateau de Miel is expected to get punters off to a flying start in the three-mile beginners chase.

This French-bred six-year-old tasted point-to-point action once, for Pat Doyle, and opened his hurdling account for current connections when scoring at Downpatrick in August 2021.
