CORONATION Street’s Stephanie Beacham was confronted by a hammer-wielding burglar during a terrifying raid, a court heard.
The actress, 75, was at her €850,000 home when she allegedly came face-to-face with the intruder.
Stephanie’s jewellery, keys, cheque book, purse and mobile phone were stolen during the break-in.
David Wilson, 56, has been charged with aggravated burglary and robbery at the actress’s home in Bayswater, West London, on September 25.
