Ten Hag wants keeper to be a big United character but not to get over confident

ERIK TEN HAG wants Andre Onana to be a big character at Old Trafford but says the goalkeeper must guard against overconfidence.

Onana marred a solid debut against Wolves on Monday when he was lucky not to concede an added-time penalty after he misjudged a cross and clattered into Sasa Kalajdzic.

Ten Hag, who worked with the Cameroon international while he was a youngster at Ajax, has signed him for his shot-stopping, his ability on the ball, and his dominating personality - but doesn't want him to overdo it.
