Yeats gelding has Thurles Hurdle firmly in his sights

FOLLOWING success at both Naas and Limerick yesterday, Willie Mullins should strike with The Gunner Yeats in today's Thurles Races. ie Maiden Hurdle in Thurles before Cheltenham kicks off tomorrow.

Winner of a Dromahane point-to-point in November 2021 before joining the Mullins team, this Yeats gelding made his stable debut in a Navan bumper last month and, sent off second favourite, he had to settle for third spot behind the classy Gordon Elliott-trained Firefox.

This looks a weak enough maiden and a good opportunity for The Gunner Yeats to triumph for Mullins and Brian Hayes.
