Airport braced as great summer exodus begins

THE great summer exodus has begun as more than a million people are expected to head off on sun holidays in the coming days. 

Holidaymakers picked a good time to go as forecasters are predicting the week ahead will bring unsettled weather.

Dublin Airport reminded short-haul passengers to be in the terminal two hours before and three hours prior to a long-haul trips.

Spokesman Graeme McQueen said the facility can cope with those huge numbers and doesn’t expect any of the delays that occurred last year.
