Deliveroo chief predicts AI advances will radically change how & what we eat

FOODGASMS, augmented ordering, virtual reality restaurants and edible eating – welcome to the future of dining. 

That’s according to food delivery giant Deliveroo, who assembled a team of experts to look forward to how we’ll be eating in 2040.

The platform – the most popular takeaway service in Ireland – released its Snack To The Future report yesterday.

Futurists, scientists and food industry experts predicted tech advances in AI and VR will revolutionise our eating habits.

Deliveroo chief executive Will Shu said: “As we look towards the next decade and beyond, we will continue to create exciting new innovations in food delivery.
