HUGO KEENAN wants to look on the bright side of life when it comes to Leinster's end-of-season misery.

Just as he can take solace from Munster, rather than any other side, winning the URC title.

He feels these are factors helping put Ireland in a great place to try and win the Rugby World Cup, now just two months away.

Of Leinster and the relationship with Ireland Keenan said: "I'd like to think the European final defeat last year would have pushed us on to win the New Zealand series and, I suppose, success in the Six Nations as well.

"You just have to use it as a motivator and not let it bring you down."
