Family horror as boy's 'virus' is diagnosed as blood cancer

WHEN Jozef Burch suddenly fell ill out of nowhere, doctors told his worried family he probably had a virus.

The eight-year-old was suffering from tiredness while also experiencing sickness and a high temperature.

Jozef, from the Tyldesley area of Wigan, was kept off school while his mum Marta booked him an appointment with a GP.

There, the medic said the youngster was suffering from a virus and he would likely get better with time.

And while Jozef’s condition did see an improvement, he worsened two days later when he vomited at school.

The following two weeks saw his family go to and from their GP practice where they were repeatedly told Jozef had a viral illness.
