THE brothers of England footballers Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold were violently attacked and robbed of a £70,000 car and watches in a Moss Side cafe, a trial has been told.
Three masked men burst into Littlerock Cafe on Princess Road where they were eating breakfast, hitting them with a baseball bat and a sawn-off shotgun and threatening them with a machete demanding their watches.
Tyler Alexander-Arnold and Dane Rashford had met with friends Daniel Payne, Payne, Jacob Dunne-Simon, and Tre Gill, on the morning of January 12 2019 with the plan of driving to Brighton to watch Liverpool play a Premier League game. They parked on Bowes Street and went to the cafe to eat breakfast. Shortly afterwards it is alleged Tariq Dervan, Romario Harmer, and Talleko Lemonious, ran into the cafe hitting all five of the group with such force the baseball bat broke, before shouting at them to hand over their watches.
Tyler was not wearing a watch, so instead handed over his wallet and the keys to his £70,000 Range Rover, Dane was made to hand over a Rolex worth £22,000, and Jacob a Rolex worth up to £4,000.
