DAUGHTER SCARRED AND TRAUMATISED, SAYS MUM
CHRIS SLATER
Girl slices her arm open on 'razor sharp cable tie fastened to bollard

A MUM claims her daughter has been left permanently scarred after 'slicing her arm open' on a piece of metal that was sticking out of a bollard.

Ella Jackson, who was six at the time, was playing out on the street near the family home in Edgeley, Stockport, as mum Jodie, 31, watched on.

However, Ella suddenly collapsed to the ground as blood poured from her arm. Jodie claims she had caught it on a 'metal cable tie' tied that was around the bollard, part of which was sticking out and 'looked like a razor blade' it was so sharp.

She scooped her up and rushed her to hospital where she had to have several stitches to close the wound. She has now been left with a permanent scar on the inside of her upper right arm.

Care worker Jodie says the injury could have been much worse had it cut an artery and says a small toddler could easily have caught their eye or cut their face as they walked past.
