A KOREAN street food restaurant wants to transform a corner of Piccadilly Gardens into an al fresco dining area.
Bunsik, which has three eateries in London and opened its first northern location in Manchester city centre this summer, is applying for planning permission to open an outside seating area in the square.
Bosses want to utilise space outside the Gardens' Pavilion for customers.
The tables and chair will front out onto the existing grass area. The application develops on some minor alterations to the concrete structures which currently separate the square from the main bus station.
