Richard Duncan, 44, was brought to justice after police stopped a car from which he was dealing cocaine, crack, and heroin. Officers found more drugs and wads of money when they raided his home.
Now 'entrenched' criminal Duncan has been jailed despite a plea for mercy because of 'mobility issues. He hobbled into the dock on crutches.
Suspicious cops stopped a Ford Fiesta on Whiteacre Road in Ashtonunder-Lyne at just after midnight on November 6, 2019 and beside Duncan, who was in the front passenger seat, officers discovered a large quantity of drugs in the pocket of the door in a series of sealed snap bags.
They found cocaine, crack and heroin with a street value of £840. Duncan also had on him £120 in cash which he claimed to have withdrawn from a cash machine, prosecutor Chloe Fordham told Minshull Street Crown Court.
