Now Greater Manchester Police announced the searches had concluded, but said the investigation continues.
Two men have been charged with Mr Everett's murder. They pleaded not guilty in court last week. A near four-month investigation began after the discovery of human remains in Kersal Dale, off Bury New Road, Salford.
Specialist teams with cadaver dogs were deployed to several parks across Greater Manchester to look for further body parts. The most recent search was at Buile Hill Park, off Eccles Old Road, Salford.
Mr Everett, 67, is believed to have died in March. Body parts were found at Kersal Dale on April 4, sparking further searches across Salford and Manchester and Bury.
