A MAJOR hunt was continuing to find a gunman after two people were left injured in a horror double shooting on Saturday night.
Police were called to reports that two victims had been left with gunshot wounds after being targeted in the Claremont Road area of Moss Side at around 10.50pm.
They were rushed to hospital from the scene, before officers and forensics taped off the area overnight amid investigations into the horror attack. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Neighbours woke up to see a cordon in place at Rosebery Street, off Claremont Road.
"It went off at about 10.30pm," a Rosebery Street resident told the M.E.N. "That's when the gun went off. Then people started dispersing."
