New data has shown a total of 2,807 infestations across Greater Manchester this year, with one area named as the second-worst affected location in England and Wales.
As Japanese knotweed’s summer growth period draws to a close, invasive plant specialist Environet has looked at the latest data from its live online tracker to reveal this year’s Japanese knotweed hotspots.
Described as the UK’s ‘most invasive plant’, it can damage properties, be extremely difficult and costly to remove and could knock value off your home when it comes to selling it.
