A MUM-OF-TWO said she ‘thought she was going to die’ after she was battered in her own home.

Sean Probert, who had returned to ‘the dating game’ – and his former alcohol habit – inflicted ‘monstrous savagery’ on his new partner, a court heard.

The violence flared when the woman asked Probert to get her phone charger – he said he was not her ‘f***ing butler’.

A judge told Probert that his attack meant the woman had not been able to return to her council job.
