A ROW has broken out at Manchester University's Students' Union over the establishment of a pro-life society.
Students have blasted the society as "abhorrent" and "concerning", saying the Students' Union should be a place that supports all students' rights and wellbeing, and accusing it of endorsing societies that aim to abolish these rights.
They have also levelled criticisms at the committee of the organisation, which appears to be made up entirely of men.
But the Students' Union says it cannot block a society from forming because of its beliefs if those beliefs are lawful.
