Ratcliffe arrived in Manchester on Tuesday to meet players and staff as part of an introductory process while the INEOS Group await regulatory approval to acquire a 25 percent stake in United.
INEOS will take control of football operations at United and sporting director Brailsford accompanied Ratcliffe as they met United manager Erik ten Hag and women's manager Marc Skinner, as well as players from both squads.
Ratcliffe was pictured greeting United striker Rasmus Hojlund, women's players Katie Zelem, Millie Turner and Aoife Mannion, while he was also introduced to receptionist Kath Phipps, who has worked at the club since 1968.
Hojlund and Ten Hag are pictured greeting Ratcliffe in the Carrington canteen, which was refurbished around 18 months ago. Another image shows Ratcliffe, Brailsford, United football director John Murtough and interim chief executive Patrick Stewart watching training.
The INEOS delegation was also welcomed at Old Trafford during an all-staff meeting.
