A MAN attacked four people at random' in a violent 15-minute rampage through a town centre.
Delroy Zinyemba carried out the 'unprovoked' assaults in Leigh on the evening of May 15 of this year.
After knocking all four victims to the ground, the 28-year-old who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia - continued to punch and kick them.
One man, who was walking with his partner when he was targeted, suffered serious injuries and said he feared he was going to be killed' during the attack.
At Bolton Crown Court yesterday, a judge spared Zinyemba jail after hearing he had responded well to psychiatric treatment following the incident.
Joshua Bowker, prosecuting, told the court that Zinyemba attacked the men in four separate attacks carried out over a 15-minute period.
