A SHOP controlled by robots is opening in Greater Manchester - and there won’t be a single human staff member in the store.
In a UK first, a fully-automated click-and-collect convenience store will open its doors to customers and orders will be available to collect within five minutes.
Cleverly named in Five, the shop is completely driven by technology with no people behind the scenes. It’s a physical store but not as we know it as there will be no shelves, checkouts or staff members.
