THE grand domed hall at the heart of Manchester's historic former Stock Exchange is preparing to get its latest new lease of life with a glamorous new look restaurant.
And United legend Gary Neville has high hopes that new restaurant Tender, inside his Stock Exchange Hotel, will become a 'gamechanger' for the city.
Already one of the city's most impressive dining spaces, the former trading hall has now been painted a new rich green colour. One of the ornate walls has also been covered in mirrors as it prepares to welcome the latest restaurant incarnation inside the five star hotel on Norfolk Street.
Tender, under the stewardship of acclaimed two Michelin Star chef Niall Keating, will open its doors to the public on June 5. And both Gary and Niall are committed to making the restaurant an 'accessible' and fun place to dine.
It will become the third restaurant to take over the space since Gary and his fellow ex-Reds legend Ryan Giggs first opened the venue alongside hotelier Winston Zahra in 2019.
They will no doubt be hoping third time lucky with the style of both the restaurant and the menu this time around, after earlier tenures from celebrity chef Tom Kerridge when the hotel first opened, and then the short-lived Stock Market Grill.
