AN UBER driver has been named the best out 85,000 working for the firm across the UK.
Michael Quinn, 73, has received the most five-star ratings out of any driver in the country and been honoured with an Uber Hero Award.
He has also completed the most trips for the taxi firm across the country, more than 67,000 - all around Manchester.
Among Michael's five-star trips was a recent journey where he rushed a university student with a suspected heart attack to hospital when the wait for an ambulance would have been 45 minutes.
He said: "You're meeting people from all walks of life different ages, different backgrounds, all with hopes and dreams in their lives and aspirations and worries and anxieties.
