IF YOU wander around our parks and countryside with headphones on, you will be missing the amazing birdsong going on around you.
If you are walking along with your phone in your hand you will miss so much nature just buzzing, tweeting and slithering by your side.
And you will definitely miss a plant that has intrigued me over the past couple of years. I would say it has enchanted me as I try to get a closer look.
For it is enchanter's nightshade, a plant you will miss even if you are looking for it, its leaves fit in with the surrounding greenery and its delicate flowers are tiny.
Never heard of it? But it is all around us in our woodlands, parks and even gardens.
I must have missed it for many years having only seen and identified it in recent years.
