Another man was left fighting for his life in hospital and a pair were taken to hospital with 'major trauma-related injuries! Police responded to a number of serious crashes, including fatal incidents in Radcliffe and near Stockport.
A stretch of the M6 was shut off as emergency services responded to a crash between two HGVs and a car and a man was rushed to hospital after being knocked down in a hit-and-run.
In the first of the incidents, police, paramedics and fire crews were called to a crash on the M6 northbound at around 12.30 p.m. on Thursday. The crash happened at junction 23, near Golborne in Wigan.
