CORONATION Street star Antony Cotton has shared his delight as it was revealed that a familiar face will be returning to the cobbles.
Actress Jenny Platt is set to reprise the role of Violet Wilson - the mother of Dylan Wilson who she shares with Antony's character Sean Tully.
Violet, who first appeared in the ITV soap in 2004, was last in Weatherfield in 2008 after she gave birth to Dylan.
She then moved to London with Dylan leaving the show. She made a one-off appearance in an episode filmed on location in London in 2011.
But she has often been refby erenced Sean following Dylan's return to the street back in 2020, played by actor Liam McCheyne 10 years after he was first cast in the role, for a brief stint before returning again in 2022.
