PE/VC deal value hits $851 mn

Startups cumulatively raised $851 million from VC and PE firms last week, against the preceding period's $241 million, according to data collated by VCCircle.

However, deal volume remained consistent with 18 transactions VCCĪ recorded last week, similar to the week before.

Last week's uptick is in line with the trend seen in May, as funding activity saw a slight resurgence last month, both in terms of deal value and volume.
