Delhi Airport sets up enclosures for faster passenger processing during delays

This initiative, spearheaded by GMR Aero, aims to minimize disruptions and streamline passenger processing to ensure a smoother travel experience.

The new facility is part of DIAL's efforts to address delays more efficiently and align with relaxed government protocols.

Passengers whose flights are delayed by over three hours or canceled due to adverse conditions can now disembark and return to the terminal with greater ease.

Traditionally, disembarked passengers had to exit through arrival areas and be reprocessed through domestic or international transfer sections, which could take up to 2.5 hours.
