Congress slams PM for highlighting decline in Hindus' population in J'khand

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the JMM-Congress coalition in Jharkhand saying that the population of Hindus and tribals are on decline and accused the JMM-led coalition government of engaging in dangerous "vote bank politics" by supporting infiltrators at the expense of the state's identity, culture, and heritage, the Congress slammed him saying that by making such serious accusations he himself highlighted the failures of his own government at the Centre.

Speaking to the ITV Network here, Jharkhand Congress incharge Ghulam Ahmed Mir hit back at the Prime Minister and the BJP and said, "This is the responsibility of the Prime Minister, Deernce Minister and Home Minister. The Prime Minister is highlighting his own failures as the borders of the country are not maintained bythe state government but by the Defence Minister, Home Minister, the Prime Minister and the External Affairs Minister."
