Speaking exclusively to ITV network, Kanhaiya, who is also known for his oratory skills took a jibe at the Prime Minister for his comments on wealth redistribution and Congress eyeing manglasutra of women, he said, “He (Modji) is spreading falsehood. There is no mention of taking away properties of any individual or wealth redistribution in Congress manifesto.”
I dare the BJP and the Prime Minister to show these points in our manifesto, he remarked.
He also said that the Prime Minister is spreading lies to avoid showing their own results in last 10 years.
“They are doing this (spreading lies) to divert attention from the unfulfilled promises they made to the people of the country in last years,” Kanhaiya said.
The Congress leader also slammed the BJP government at the centre for raking all these issues ahead of the elections to avoid cross-questioning by the people of the country. He further said that the Congress manifesto is in open domain and anyone can view it whether the party has talked about wealth redistribution or not.
“Instead of all these we have talked about 5 nyay and 25 guarantees, and how we plan to empower the people of the country and provide more power to them through our nari nyay, kisan nyay among others,” the Congress leader said.
