The two-day extravaganza highlighted India's rich cultural heritage, bringing together some of the nation's most gifted artists. The festival beautifully showcased the seamless fusion of diverse cultural traditions through the universal languages of dance and music.
The evening began with renowned Hindustani vocalist Dr. Nalini Joshi, who started with a Guru Vandana, followed by two renditions in Raag Yaman. She then presented a devotional composition on Lord Ganesh, 'Jai Jai Shri Ganesh'. Her performance was vibrant and soul-stirring, enveloping the audience in a serene, transcendent atmosphere, evoking deep reflection and a sense of divine presence. Dr. Joshi was accompanied by Damodar Lal Ghosh on harmonium and Ustad Akhtar Hasan on tabla.
