Ahmedabad: The incident involved four heavy vehicles and bore a striking resemblance to the recent Ajmer highway tragedy, which claimed 11 lives and left 33 injured after a tanker explosion.
The mishap occurred between Bavla and Bagodara, where a truck carrying fabric materials from Bagodara to Ahmedabad suffered a tire burst. The out-of-control vehicle collided with another truck traveling in the opposite direction from Bavla to Bagodara. This initial crash led to a chain reaction, involving two more vehicles—an Icer tempo and a cement bulker—culminating in a massive blaze.
