The much-anticipated ‘Know Your Army Mela’ commenced on Friday at the Royal Western India Turf Club Ltd. (RWITC), Pune, under the theme “Samarth Bharat Saksham Sena”.
Organised under the aegis of the Southern Command, the event opened with grandeur and patriotic fervour, reinforcing the Indian Army’s commitment to building a strong and self-reliant India.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who emphasised the enduring bond between the Army and the people.
Joining him were distinguished personalities, including Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, Army Commander Southern Command, senior military commanders and prominent members of the civil administration.
