The raids on the official and residential premises of the builders indicate that the latter had links with former constable of the Transport Department, Saurabh Sharma.

Although the raids by the Special Police Establishment (SPE) and I-T sleuths were just a coincidence, it came to light that the builders and Sharma were linked with each other.

One of the builders, whose premises were raided, became close to Sharma who was investing the carrots he made from the check posts of the Transport Department in properties. Because Sharma was investing money in properties, he befriended the builders.
