Cong Demands Cancellation, Probe
The Free Press Journal - Indore|January 02, 2025
Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Deepak Baij has called for the cancellation of the ongoing recruitment processes for police constables and forest guards across Chhattisgarh, citing serious allegations of corruption and favouritism.

He has demanded a comprehensive investigation into the matter and the blacklisting of the Hyderabad-based private company responsible for conducting physical tests in these recruitments.

In a press statement, Baij accused the BJP-led state government of 'selling jobs' in collusion with the private company. He claimed that irregularities were prevalent in the physical examination process for the recruitment of 6,000 constables and forest guards. The same company had earlier managed similar tests for forest guard recruitment, which had also faced scrutiny, but no inquiry was initiated.
