The Škoda Kylaq is based on the MQB-Ao-IN platform, like the Kushaq and the Slavia. This platform has proved its mettle in our difficult road conditions since it came to the market in 2021. This is a tried-and-tested platform, yet Škoda left no stone unturned in their quest to make sure the Kylaq meets or exceeds the expectations of their customers. In pursuit of that, they completed eight lakh kilometres of testing throughout the country, in temperatures ranging from freezing minus 10 degrees Celsius to scorching +85 degrees Celsius and over terrain varying from the coastal areas to altitudes of 3,000 metres above sea level.

Škoda also achieved 95 per cent localisation, which means the Kylaq is truly a made-in-India product.
