The budget is a significant milestone in nation’s journey towards a developed nation, or ‘Viksit Bharat’, by 2047. The primary focus is on ‘Make in India’, employment generation, support the middle class, MSME and urban infrastructure development.
As per the demand of the industry and the market, the ITIs have been accordingly modernised.
The centrally-sponsored scheme to skill 20 lakh youth over five years will enable ‘Make in India’ concept come true. It will help in developing a skilful manpower which would be globally competent. The revision of model skilling loan scheme to facilitate loans up to Rs 7.5 lakh would enable several underprivileged youths to pursue higher studies.
