Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) aspirants continue their agitation for the inclusion of the 258 agriculture vacancies in the exams for the graduates of the related field who would write the exam. At the same time, they have demanded that the exam, which is scheduled for Aug 25, be postponed as the date clashes with the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) examination. According to the MPSC aspirants, many candidates preparing for both would face problems if the exam isn't postponed.
The MPSC aspirant staged a protest on Tuesday night, following a press conference earlier that day. During the protest, they demanded the postponement of the exam and the inclusion of the 258 positions in the exam. In a notification, MPSC said that they could not include the newly requested Agricultural Services posts in the upcoming exam due to timing issues.
