Stating that Jalgaon district is known for leading the gold business, Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan urged government officials to make efforts to create a gold cluster in the district. Radhakrishnan was speaking at a review meeting organised with the District Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil, local MPs, MLAs and senior government officials at the Ajantha Government Rest House on Tuesday.
Radhakrishnan urged officials to pay special attention to the development of underdeveloped areas of the district.
He stressed expediting the work of the irrigation project and asked officials to find solutions upon encountering any technical difficulties.
