It's that magical time of the year when the air is full of excitement, joy, and the aroma of delicious sweets.

In India, the festive season begins with the vigour-filled celebrations of Ganesh Utsav and continues till the sparkling celebration of Deepavali. Every festival during this period holds a special meaning, and together they form a beautiful cycle that connects our traditions, beliefs, and the natural world.

Just like Lord Ganesha is the first to be worshipped during any festivities, this season too begins with Ganesh Utsav. As farmers sow kharif crops like rice, maize, millet, sugarcane, ragi, pulses, soybean, groundnut, and more, they seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, also known as Vighnaharta, literally meaning "the remover of obstacles", with the hope that the seeds grow healthy and strong, paving the way for a successful harvest.
