Flamingos have arrived at Nandur Madhyameshwar Bird Sanctuary this year after travelling thousands of kilometres from the Rann of Kutch. Approximately thousands of birds from all over the country and abroad have entered the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the flamingos are seen roaming freely in the area after a long period of four years, which is a sight for bird lovers, nature enthusiasts, and tourists who have been eagerly waiting to see them. This year, the prolonged return of rains, resulting in fewer wetlands and marshes, and cloudy weather for the last eight days, along with unseasonal rains, have reduced the number of birds.
