Formal plaint lodged against Sarvankar
The Free Press Journal|November 20, 2024
A complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission of India (ECI), urging it to book Mahim MLA Sada Sarvankar for violating the Model Code of Conduct by allegedly seeking votes in lieu of free pressure cookers. Advocate Nikhil Kamble, who had received the information about the distribution, wrote to the ECI, alleging that the MLA used BMC funds to distribute freebies among voters.
