Earlier, the organizers of the Ganesh Utsav Samiti gave a grand welcome to Harish Rao. A large number of devotees thronged Khairatabad to pay obeisance to 70ft tall Lord Ganesha.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said Indian culture was very rich and added that this culture should be passed onto future generations. “Our Khairatabad Vinayaka is famous in the world. Once upon a time Vinayaka Chaturthi was reminiscent of Mumbai. But now, the whole country is praising the saying Khairatabad Ganesh.
