MOOD MAGIC

Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes we feel sad...Going through a big life transition, or changing jobs, feeling overburdened or pressured, not eating a balanced diet, hormonal imbalances, certain medications, and not getting enough sleep can oscillate the mood. On the other hand, Monoamine neurotransmitters that affect our mood include serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. As a result, the prevalence of certain mental illnesses has been connected to abnormalities in these neurotransmitter levels. In such a situation, these few easy remedies can not only help in preventing problems like mood swings but also increase happiness.

Deep breathing: Simple enough to be missed, one of the best hacks of reducing stress in just a couple of minutes is: to take deep breaths. Deep breathing can be a state intercept into the emotional cascade that follows when you are stressed and can allow you to redirect your emotional and mental state after the deep breathing.

Water therapy: Splash cold water on face. Or, take a shower with cold or hot water, a shower is a sure-shot way of feeling relaxed and invigorated. Use essential oils and a good shower gel to boot.
