RSS calls for action against atrocities in Bangladesh

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has issued an urgent appeal to address escalating violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, highlighting the cross-border communal and political tensions that have intensified in recent months.

Condemning the atrocities, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale described a series of targeted attacks, including arson, looting, and violence, with Hindu women disproportionately affected.

Hosabale strongly criticized the Bangladeshi government for its inaction, describing their silence as tacit approval of these heinous acts. He condemned the imprisonment of Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was arrested for allegedly disrespecting the Bangladeshi flag during peaceful protests advocating for Hindu rights.

"It is deeply unjust that a religious leader striving to protect his community through peaceful means is subjected to such repression," Hosabale said. The RSS called on the Bangladeshi government to end the atrocities, release Chinmoy Das, and ensure justice for the victims.
